Kentucky Book Fair - Librarian's Lunch

There are still seats available for the 8th Annual Kentucky Book Fair Librarians' Luncheon. This year, we have a sweet-treat for you. Judy Rosenberg will discuss her latest cookbook entitled THE ROSIE'S BAKERY ALL-BUTTER, CREAM-FILLED, SUGAR-PACKED BAKING BOOK. This was named one of the "10 Best Cookbooks of the Year" by NPR. The Meeting House located in downtown Frankfort is hosting the event on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The cost is $18.00. The menu choices are: Creamed Chicken and Veggies on Puff Pastry or Vegetarian Quiche with Cranberry Cole Slaw Drink choices are sweet and unsweetened tea or coffee. The dessert options are choices from Judy Rosenberg's collection: a Brownie Shortbread Bar or a Lemon Vanilla Pound Cake.

Kentucky Book Fair books will be available for purchase at the Librarians' Preview Party at the Frankfort Convention Center immediately following the luncheon. Reservations are not needed. Friday November 9 is also Children's Day with programs and books geared to young people and librarians. Reservations are needed for this event.
